Natalie was a miracle worker from our family. I live out of state, so we used Slumberocity’s two week support package.
Our daughter nursed and co-slept from birth until 15 months. She had an incredibly strong nursing to sleep association, and any time she stirred, she panicked until she was able to latch on. I was very on the fence of when, how, and if I wanted to move her out of the bed – but the one thing we knew was we wanted an incredible gentle approach.
Natalie was very thorough in collecting information, which made me confident that she would be tailoring her plan and advised to our unique situation. Her customized plan wasn’t something we could have read in a book, or learned from a blog – because we’d already tried that!
More than the plan, she provided support to us as parents. She was compassionate to our daughter and us, and understood our limits (wanting a no-cry method), and was able to really help us understand things from our daughter’s perspective in that, there will be tears because we are asking her to change and do something she doesn’t want to do. We felt comfortable with the ways in which were able to support her through this transition, while still being able to stay within our boundaries of having a gentle approach.
My husband and I were really proud of how quickly our daughter learned. Now that she was 15 months, she could begin to understand our directions and words, and became confident in putting herself down. Those 15 months co-sleeping were really amazing memories I wouldn’t change for the world, but now we are happy to have her sleep better, and happier, and have our bed back! We could not have done it without you – thank you, Natalie!

When we contacted Natalie we were at wit’s end. We were going on week 3 of no-sleeping-through-the-night with our then 21-month-old son. Up to that point he had been an overall good sleeper. None of our usual methods (going to sleep earlier or later, talking him through the routine, CIO, rocking him to sleep and/or cosleeping as last resort) were working. We felt like all the last ditch efforts we were trying were probably just confusing him and making things worse. Upon a recommendation from other moms we exhaustedly reached out to Natalie. Best money spent!!! We loved working with her. We bought a 2-week support package. Natalie had us fill out a detailed form online and then she scheduled a consultation via phone. She then formulated a written plan complete with a google doc sleep log. No matter what curveballs our toddler threw at us during the process, Natalie always had a solution and was super supportive of us as parents. We are still using all of her suggestions 3 months later and through 2 vacations. Our son is still sleeping great. When he has an off night (like on vacation) we have the confidence and tools to get back on track. She is also gentle and soothing over the phone and loves to celebrate with you when you have a successful night. I couldn’t have asked for better professional competence and nonjudgmentalness during such a stressful time as a parent. I would totally recommend Natalie, and have already passed on her contact info to friends

As a new mom, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and unsure of what’s right. Like most, I read a million books. But I couldn’t find the answers I needed. My two-month-old son was crying nonstop in the late afternoons, the so-called “witching hour,” and his sleep was fitful at best during his naps when we decided to hire Natalie. Her main message from the very beginning was to trust my instincts and she worked closely with me over a four-day period _ observing my son, observing me and making small but significant suggestions. Natalie immediately put my husband and me at ease with her calm, professional and friendly demeanor. She was great with our son. Now our son is regularly sleeping in his crib, taking good naps throughout the day and is calm and playful in the late afternoon. Natalie’s secret is that she listens to each baby and understands what they need and then helps their parents help them.

Natalie is hands down the most terrific nighttime helper you’ll ever find. She joined us when our son was a week old, and by 8 weeks she had him sleeping through the night! This is no small feat considering our other two kids took months to sleep through the night, and then, only after many tears. With Natalie, the entire process was smooth and painless.

After the first night, I knew our children were in good hands with you there to watch over them. Those precious hours of sleep you gave us allowed my husband to work more easily each day and allowed me to make it through each day.

At my wits end, I contacted Slumberosity and Natalie came right over the next day. She showed me how to properly swaddle him, and gave me techniques that allowed my entire house to get some rest at night.

We read every book, blog, article, mommy forum etc trying to get help and do whatever we could to help our baby get some sleep. As soon as we got connected with Natalie some of my anxiety was eased simply by completing her very thorough questionaire. She asked us questions no ‘expert’ had addressed in all the places we read for help.

I have to admit, the first few nights were hard, but not as hard I as I thought they would be. Natalie worked out a plan that my husband and I could still connect with Aria, but also allowed her to become more of a self soother.
